Admission Notice 2018-19

NOTICE : 30/2018(20.08.2018)
INSTRUCTIONS FOR VERIFICATION OF DOCUMENTS
Students (All subjects, both Hons. and Programme Course) who have taken admission between 08.08.2018 and 20.08.2018 and those who have been absent on the earlier days of verification of documents will have to report for verification at Vidyasagar Sabhagriha, Shatabhisha Building on 23.08.2018 at 12 noon.
The following documents have to be brought by the students for verification:
1. Print out of the application form bearing the candidate’s signature.
2. Original mark-sheet of Higher Secondary or equivalent examination.
3. Original admit card/ certificate of Secondary examination as proof of date of birth.
4. Original caste/ PH certificate of the candidate (wherever applicable).
5. A self-attested photocopy of each of the documents mentioned above.
6. Receipt of online payment/candidate's copy of bank challan for payment of admission fees.
7. The CBCS card (the document containing the subject combination) signed by the candidate.
8. Cancellation certificate (wherever applicable).
9. 2 recent passport size colour photographs of the candidate.
10. Anti-ragging declarations (print-out of the online application as well as the one issued by a notary public).
Please note that if any discrepancy arises at this point between the information declared by the candidate in the application form and the original documents or any doubt arises about the authenticity of the documents produced the admission of the concerned candidate will be cancelled and the admission fees will be forfeited.

Online application for UG Programme Courses (Arts and Science) will reopen on 3.8.2018 and the admission process for this phase will take place according to the following schedule.
Re-opening of Admission Portal (for Program Course): 03.08.2018 (at 00:00:00 hrs)
Last date of Form fill up (for Program Course): 08.08.2018 (till 23:59:59 hrs.)
Last date of Payment of Form fill up (for Program Course): 09.08.2018 (till 23:59:59 hrs.)
Publication of Provisional Merit List (for Program Course): 11.08.2018 (evening)
Correction (if any) (for Program Course): 13.08.2018 (11:00 a.m. to 03:00 p.m.)
Publication of Final Merit List (for Program Course): 14.08.2018 (Evening)
*Payment can be made ONLY THROUGH ONLINE BANKING.

NOTICE : 28/2018(11.08.2018)
The candidates eligible for the 14TH Phase of e-counselling for B.A. & B.Sc. Honours Courses on the basis of vacancy of the remaining seats (Subject and Category wise) will receive SMS notifications to this effect on 11.08.2018.
Such candidates/guardians of the candidates will have to pay the admission fees only through online on 12.08.2018 , 13.08.2018 & 14.08.2018. Payment of Admission Fees confirms the candidate having been admitted in that particular subject at this College.

The following documents have to be brought by the students for verification:

1. Print out of the application form bearing the candidate’s signature.
2. Original mark-sheet of Higher Secondary or equivalent examination.
3. Original admit card/ certificate of Secondary examination as proof of date of birth.
4. Original caste/ PH certificate of the candidate (wherever applicable).
5. A self-attested photocopy of each of the documents mentioned above.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR VERIFICATION OF DOCUMENTS
Verification of the documents of the admitted candidates will be held at Vidyasagar Sabhagriha, Shatabhisha Building according to the following schedule:

Note: Students who have taken admission during the first three phases of e-counselling for Hons. courses and have already undergone verification are also required to be present on their respective date of verification. They have to bring their original HS Mark-sheet and the CBCS Card issued at the time of admission.

It is hereby notified for all concerned that the online admission into different undergraduate courses (B.A/B.Sc Honours and Program [general]) for the academic session 2018-2019 will be started on 11/06/2018 at 11:30 am.

Notice - 2/2018(18-06-2018)
This is for the information of all concerned that ENVS may be treated as a regular subject and the marks obtained in ENVS may be entered while filling the application form. However, in the absence of any definite university guideline in this regard the college authorities will not be responsible for any problem faced by the candidate during registration or any other procedure which falls under the purview of the university.

This is for the information of all concerned that the portal for application will be closed on 18.06.2018 at 23:59:59 hours and both the online and offline payment of application fees will be closed at the end of banking hours on 19.06.2018.

2. All applicants who have entered any wrong information while filling their forms are directed to meet the UG Admission Committee at Vidyasagar Sabhagriha, Satabhisha Building, A B N Seal College on 22.06.2018 between 12 noon and 4pm or on 23.06.2018 between 12 noon and 1pm to rectify the errors.
3. The final merit list for admission to the various undergraduate courses (Honours and Programme course) will be published on 23.06.2018 evening.

Notice - 7/2018(28-06-2018)

  1. The candidates chosen for the First Phase of e-counselling according to the intake capacity (Subject and Category wise) will receive SMS notifications to this effect on 25.6.2018 evening. These candidates/ guardians of the candidates will have to pay the admission fee either through online or offline mode (at Axis Bank, Kochbihar Branch only) on 26.6.2018 or 27.6.2018 and then visit the college for the verification of documents on 26.6.2018, 27.6.2018 or 28.6.2018 between 11 am and 4 pm. For further phases of e-counselling please go through the Admission Schedule.
  2. Documents to Be Brought for Verification:
    1. Print out of the application form with the applicant's signature and the payment receipt of admission fees.
    2. Original Marksheet of Higher Secondary Examination.
    3. Original Admit Card/ Certificate of Secondary Examination as age proof.
    4. The candidate's own caste/ PH certificate issued by competent authorities (wherever applicable).
    5. Xerox copies of all the above documents.
    6. 2 recent passport-size colour photographs of the candidate.
  3. The applicants are hereby requested not to depend solely on SMS notifications and check the college website (abnscollege.org) from time to time for updates and information. The college authorities will not be responsible if an applicant fails to pay the admission fees or come for verification of documents within the stipulated time because of non-receipt of SMS notifications.
