In accordance with the directive of the Cooch Behar Panchanan Barma University another phase of verification and admission for the vacant seats of BA and BSC Programme Courses will be held on 24.08.2017. Candidates who have been called for verification through SMS are required to report at the college between 10:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. beyond which no requests for attending the counselling will be entertained. If a candidate is unable to be present in person his/her parents or guardians may also represent him/her provided they are carrying the relevant documents in original. The documents to be brought at the time of verification are as follows:

  1. A printed copy of the filled in application form bearing the candidates signature. If the candidate has applied for more than one subject he/she should bring separate application forms for each subject.
  2. Original copy of Admit card/ Certificate of Madhyamik or equivalent for proof of Age.
  3. Original copy of Mark sheet of Madhyamik or equivalent examination.
  4. Original copy of Mark sheet of Higher Secondary or equivalent examination.
  5. Caste certificate if any.
  6. Physically Handicapped certificate if any.
  7. Xerox copies of the above mentioned documents.
  8. 2 passport size colour photographs of the candidate.

Unlike the previous phases of verification the candidates have to take admission on the same date i.e. 24.08.2017 by paying the admission fees at Axis Bank, Koch Bihar or through online payment methods and submitting the bank challan at the college after the process of verification.

3rd & 4th Phase of Verification for Hons. Subjects and 3rd Phase of Verification for Program Course (Pass Course) are going to be held according to the following schedule

If any candidate wishes to make any correction regarding the information submitted in the online application form (especially in the case of mistakes in the ‘marks obtained’ column) are hereby directed to contact the college after publication of the provisional merit list with supporting documents on 19th June 2017, between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The candidates whose names are not listed in the provisional merit list in spite of having duly submitted the fee in the bank are also requested to contact the college admission cell with supporting documents on the said date and time.

According to the merit list published on 20.06.2017, some of the candidates are requested to be present in the college on the following dates for verification of documents. The candidates who are selected for the verification will get an SMS alert in their registered mobile no., though they are requested to check the college website regularly for updates regarding counselling and verification of the relevant documents and not to depend solely on SMS alerts. Receiving a call for verification does not guarantee admission though appearing in verification is essential for admission

Depending on the number of seats remaining vacant after the first phase of Admission, some of the candidates are requested to be present in the college on the following dates for verification of documents. The candidates who are selected for the verification will get an SMS alert in their registered mobile no. on 01.07.2017 (evening), still they are requested to check the college website regularly for updates regarding counselling and verification of the relevant documents and not to depend solely on SMS alerts. Receiving a call for verification does not guarantee admission though appearing in verification is essential for admission.

Notice No. : w-5/2017 Dt : 06.07.2017
As per Cooch Behar Panchanan Barma University circular no. CBPBU/REG/UG-Admission/978-17 dated 04.07.2017, the Admission Portal of our college has been re-opened for filling up the form of General Course only. It will be remained open till 23:59:59 hrs of 10.07.2017. The registration fee can be submitted through Online Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card or through cash in Axis Bank, Cooch Behar Branch, from 07.07.2017 to 12.07.2017 till 3:30 pm, i.e. the banking hours. Online and Cash payment both will be closed at 3:30  pm of 12.07.2017.


 

Notice No. : w-6/2017 Dt : 14.07.2017
‚ÄčThis is for all concerned that the Schedule of B. Sc. General Course has been changed. The date of Physical Verification of Documents (1st Phase) has been rescheduled to 19.07.2017 instead of 17.07.2017 due to some unavoidable circumstances.
