• Attended 54th W.B.Yeats International Summer School, 2013 at Sligo, Ireland for two weeks (28th July- 9th August) with the T. R. Henn Scholarship.
• Participated on a Workshop conducted by Visva-Bharati on ‘Bangla Banan Samasya O Tar Sombhabyo Somadhan’ in 2012.
• Participated in principles and methods of Language Teaching workshop in conducted by Presidency College, Kolkata in collaboration with U.S. Consulate General, Kolkata, on the topic ‘Exploring Narrative Tasks’, led by American ELT specialist Cray Staggs on July 26, 2010. 

Award/Prize/National Recognition

• Recipient of Junior Research Fellowship (Monthly living allowances and annual contingency grant) by University Grants Commission, Government of India. (From March 2012- June 2014)
• Received T. R. Henn Scholarship to attend the 54th W.B.Yeats Summer School, 2013.
• Received international researcher’s travel grant from University of Calcutta to attend an International conference at Edinburgh at 2012.
